The Liga Futve or First Division of Venezuela is the highest division of soccer in Venezuela . Its organization depends on the Venezuelan Football Federation. Las Américas FC was the champion of the inaugural edition of Liga Futve . Practically no information is known about the development of that tournament. Besides the winner, the only thing known is that the runner-up was Centro Atlético Sport Club .The Zamora FC was the great dominator of the competition in the 2010s. The team located in Barinas achieved its first three national championships in that period: 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2016. The entity had to be re-founded in 2002 after Atlético Zamora Fútbol Club, its predecessor, was forced to the disappearance due to financial problems.
